Super Show Down - hit or miss?

So, for me super show down was a hit, I enjoyed the matches, apart from maybe the odd one or two, which I'll explain lower down, but over all the show itself was a decent show and being able to watch it at a decent time since being a UK fan, wrestling and breakfast was a win.

Anyway the show kicked off with new day vs the bar, new day coming out the winners, the match itself was pretty much the usual stuff you would expect from both sides. Nothing special but not boring.

Becky Vs Charlotte, I found to be a bit underwhelming, I felt like the match itself had alot going for it and even if the ending was perfect to make Becky the heel if that's what they are still going for, since the crowd still cheer her. The match I didn't find it to have anything special it seemed like just a every day normal smackdown match, I do feel like Becky is loosing the title at the all female ppv evolution at the end of the month.

Okay the matches ain't gonna go in order anymore.

AJ styles Vs Samoa Joe

This match was more then it was expected to be, both men doing more then expected of them, moves from both of them being pulled out the bag, I didn't really mind who won this one, AJ pulled it out the bag, he can officially move on for now, I will miss the promos between them both, it was a very personal feud.

Bobby Lashley & John Cena Vs Kevin Owens and Elias

Most of the match Bobby took the beating for his team, this match felt like it could of just been a smackdown match, was a bit boring with Cena coming in the ring for all of 2 mins hitting his same moves that he's had for years and winning the match for him and Bobby, the end of the match was worrying, when Cena grabbed the mic, the speech started to sound like a retirement speech, but in the end he just thanked the Aussie crowd for everything.

Ronda & The Bella's Vs The Riot Squad

This match was just the basic woman's six person tag match, Liv got to kick brie in the face, while shouting at her asking how it felt, brie turned round and grabbed her tongue, at first people were thinking the Bella's were turning on Ronda, due to the fact they didn't tag her in, the match had the predicted ended of Ronda winning it some how for her team, this time she did it with a double arm bar to Liv and Sarah, the riot squad turned up in the match and showed that they can stand with ronda, in the end the Bella's never did turn on Ronda.

The Shield Vs Strowman,Ziggler, McIntyre, this match was a fight from the get go, they started fighting before the bell even went, with the shield coming up short in that part, but they definitely didn't come up short by the end of the match with Dean hitting dirty deeds and picking up the win, during the match they teased Dean turning heel, which isnt the first time this week, after Roman accidentally hit Dean with a superman punch, it was iffy if he was gonna turn, but in the end Roman made it up to Dean by saving him from Braun. Shield won and Dean could still turn on them.

IIconics Vs Naomi & Auska

From the get go we knew the IIconics were winning this match since the girls themselves are Aussies, it would be sorta wrong for them to loose in their hometown, anyway the girls came out to a pop, it was a basic match, with the IIconics coming out on top. The pop at the end was amazing for them, and i couldn't be happier that their first official WWE ppv on the main roster was in Australia.

Buddy Murphy Vs Cedric Alexander, I don't watch 205 live very often, but I'm always super impressed when I do watch it, some of the moves they pull out the bag is out of this world they didn't disappoint at all and both should be proud of the match, buddy pulled it out the bag and become the first Aussie singles champion in WWE, he fully deserves the title. I'm glad he won it in front of a home crowd.

Daniel Bryan Vs The Miz

This match was pointless it lasted less then two minutes, Daniel won with a small package for a match against AJ styles, it was boring, definitely worse match of the night. Which is a shame since they are both talented wrestlers.

The main event, Triple H Vs Undertaker, thinking about this match hurts my heart, they left it all in the ring, still to this day I think triple H should of been the one to end the streak and it was proven today, the match they had so much emotion, it was full of everything, refs getting knocked out, Kane and Shawn Michaels being out there with them both, the match was amazing it was back and forth all match, with triple H coming out on top, the end of the match made kids of the 90's want to cry, seeing them hug it out, the twist is undertaker and Kane at the end turned on HHH & Michaels, which makes us wonder if DX Vs the brothers of destruction are gonna have a match in the future.

Over all the super show down was a hit, even if the US wrestling fans had to be wake from 2am to 5am, sorry guys we do it every week.
