WWE RAW - 01/14/2019 - WHAT HAPPENED AND OPINIONS.

This week's raw had many things happen, it was a good episode of raw this week with a few faults, but we can see past them.

Anyway raw began with vince arriving at RAW, in his limo. It then cut to the ring which saw Braun Strowman enter it for a promo, this promo was on how Brock is scared of Braun himself, how come the Royal Rumble he will be the champion, also the champion we deserve as fans anyway the fans reacted well to this chanting get these hands along with braun, until baron corbin came along to run his mouth as usual then running away from Braun who started chasing him down, but lost him, that was until Elias was shown on the camera singing a song about where he had seen baron go, which just so happened to be a limo, yes Vince's limo. 

As you can guess Braun then chased down to the limo breaking it in the same time to find Corbin to then tell to run, enter Vince looking baffled and disappointed over his limo, he carried on to call the monster among men a wrecking ball, in a humorous way Braun tries fixing the limo, Vince then takes the championship match away from Braun for raising his voice, being the bad guy. Braun then flips the limo and walks off.

The first match of the night was the amazing WWE RAW women, the match was a tag team match which included Ronda Rousey & Sasha Banks Vs Nia Jax and Tamina, before the match starts we see Braun being escorted from the building. Now back to the match, Sasha and Nia start the match out but Nia says she wants Ronda not Sasha but Sasha doesn't take that as and answer and takes down Nia, watching Sasha wrestling is always a pleasure she's a great wrestler, Sasha uses her quickness and submission moves on Nia as she's bigger then Sasha, Sasha really does own the match during her part again Nia but then she tags Ronda in and the crowd have a good reaction, Nia tags Tamina in who gets in to a nearly arm bar but Nia saves Tamina, the match itsself is back and forth in the end but the team that comes out on top is Sasha and Ronda, with Sasha getting Tamina to tap out with the bank statement.

In the post match interview Ronda talks about how they respect each other, but that takes a turn, Sasha taking over the promo, as she has a way with words. Sasha needs more mic time, this little promo off was a great build up to the match at Royal Rumble, to me experience on the mic came across more during the promo with Sasha, she was definitely better in the promo, it ended with Sasha walking off hold up four fingers which was referring to the four house women of WWE.

Catch to a segment of superstars lining up outaide Mr.Mcmahons office, the door opens and jerry lawyer comes out to no way Jose dancing Infront of him,  looking confused as ever Jerry Lawyer looks on, then to a segment from the women, of Bayley and natayla breaking up an argument between Sasha and Ronda, Sasha and Ronda go different ways leaving nattie and Bayley, nattie says Sasha has to control her emotions, who Bayley didn't agree, the fight then goes between Bayley and nattie defending their besties, que the riot squad, claiming that everyone else is falling out and how they are strong, ruby tells them to find themselves friend to a match against them tonight, which is coming up during raw at some point. 

Another a tag team match this time the men, lucha house party Vs the revival,  before the match the revival take the mic and claim that the lucha house party saw them get screwed last week, which is the reason for this match this week, the match was back and fourth all match and ended with the revival taking the win, they won by pushing one of the lucha house partys leg of the rope.

Cut to a segment, of Vince saying he would rather go to the ring to tell us who is facing Brock Lesnar, which was up next, Vince goes on to talk but cenas music hits right away, Vince goes to walk again and Cena stops him again saying he knows what he's gonna say and what he's gonna do, Cena said he would save the time and trouble, he Cena is stepping up for the championship match by the sounds of it, he goes on about making this your life and loving every second of it, he asks Vince for an chance, another chance, Drew McIntyre comes out to tell John that he's wrong claiming he still has ruthless aggression and tells Vince he is what ruthless aggression looks like and uses cenas catch phase against John " your time is up and my time is now" and then everyone's favourite man appears baron corbin, comes to call his case about him having a title match, the crowd down agree, the crowd go wild for Mr Finn Balor who says he's tired of always being left out and he says they can make claims to alot of things, yet he's the only one that has ever been universal champion, Vince being true to Vince cuts finn of saying maybe he will one day but against all this beef and against Brock Lesnar he wouldn't stand a chance, Vince being Vince loves his 'beef', he does say Finn is a great. Then we get on to the subject of who believes in Finn, Vince not being one of them, so he shows him. Unfortunately that went against him and drew took advantage of it all, Vince then starts up a four way between Cena, Mcintyre, Balor, Corbin which was to come later on tonight.

Up next was another tag match, but a six women one, riott squad Vs Bayley & Natalya & Nikki Cross, with her raw debut,    but before that we have another Vince segment where jinah asked Vince for a chance, Vince then said that he can pick whatever man was in that ring and if he wins he takes the place of said man, he picked Finn Balor back to the women's match, the match was back and fourth with Nikki coming out and had an amazing debut match, showed her crazy side, Bayley & Nattie & Nikki won, annoyed that Nikki didn't get the pin in debut match on raw, but Bayley got the pin for the team, still yet to have a singles match which was finally happening next, Jinah Vs Finn was up next.

The match itsself was back and fourth, but before the match even starts Jinah attacks Balor to try and get the upper hand, in the end Finn turned it all round and gets the win against Jinah and keeps his place, in the match later tonight, but at what cost?..

Up next was the IC championship match, Dean putting his title on the line against Bobby Lashly and Seth Rollins, the match was good, it was back and fourth between all three men, unfortunately Dean lost his title to Bobby Lashly, this leaves us wondering what's going to happen with Seth and Dean and what WWE has got in store for the both of them, hopefully something good as they both deserve amazing stuff in WWE, they both deserve a good storyline, fingers crossed they ain't dropping the ball on either of them, what does annoy me on commentary is how they always ask Renee how dean is at home, it's not about that right now it's about the talent in the ring, anyway back to the match, there is no team ups in the match there is noone working together. The match ends with Bobby pinning Dean to win the title, let's just hope something comes of this for Dean and Seth, they deserve more, the match was a decent match, it was a long match which all stars involved taking big bumps.

Up next was another segment of a moment of bliss, before this they did a segment where a runner is giving her a coffee and she is there topless, but covering her boobs with a top, skipping back to commentary who looked gobsmacked but Renee just carried on as normal, anyway the segment of a moment of bliss the guest this week was Paul Heyman, the real universal champion let's be fair, Alexa get to reveal the NEW WOMENS TAG TEAM TITLES, the titles themselves look amazing, 3 teams from raw and smackdown get to compete for them inside the EC, the segment carried on to introduce Paul Heyman, who cut Alexa off to introduce himself, the intwrinte with Paul just went on to talk about Brock and his match and who he will be facing at Royal Rumble. Alexa really is great on the mic I swear she gets better and better every week, she owes the mic, definitely the work in NXT paid off, let's make a moment of bliss a show on the network. 

Next and the main event, was the four way match,  the match was under way and we was about to find out what Finn's last match might have cost him in the long run, the match was full and decent, it definitely held up the spot of main event, the match was back and fourth and all men had bumps, Finn showed effects of his last match, Cena showing why he's is JOHN CENA, the match was entertaining, fun to watch the crowd were in to it, good match up made by Vince, Cena definitely appreciates Finn Balor and that showed, he believes in Balor, but then again who wouldn't? In the end the match ended with FINN BALOR taking the spot, taking the championship match. Finally what he deserves and what his fans deserve after everything, Balor pinned Cena of all people, after the match Cena showed his respect to Balor, by holding his up this arm in the middle of the ring and also a little promo from Cena claiming Finn has one more person that believes in him. Let's do this Finn! 

Balor Vs Lesnar should be a good match, Finn never lets us down and always finds away to over come the bigger opponents, fingers crossed for Finn coming out on top and taking the title from lesnar. 

Overall raw was a solid 8 out of 10 for me, hopefully some build up to the Finn Vs Balor match will happen next week.
