Smackdown after mania had something to live up with since raw after mania was so good it didn't disappoint.

The show started of with Shane McMahon, talking about his wrestling match and explaining how Daniel had officially become a wwe superstar again which left and opening for a new General manager of smackdown live, Shane then introduces paige, as the previous to smackdown paige announced on raw she was retiring, paige stated that she's happy with the role she's getting to play and her first job as gm was making everyone happy, making smackdown special so she set up a match between Daniel and AJ styles. 

The first match on smackdown Live was The Usos vs New day winners got a title match at the event on the 27th of April which can be watched on the network, the match was back and fourth as expected with both these teams but the Usos came out on top, winning the match for the chance to get the tag titles back, after the match the bludgeon brothers came out and just stood at the top of the ramp pointing at the usos.

Up next was a segment between naomi and natayla where they both just talked trash to each other which set up a match between them, the match itself was very back and fourth, as matches between the two are, naomi coming out on top but there was some good moves within the match, I still can't get over how ugly the woman's battle royal trophy is.

The commentary then throw over to renee young who interviewed shinsuke over what he did at mania to AJ Styles, the interview was a funny one, renee asked shinsuke why he did it he said blamed it on emotion and all that but was clear that wasn't the real reason and that he was joking she then asked again where he reply "sorry me don't speak English" he then left renee, leaving renee slightly annoyed with how the interview went.

Up next was a segment, a Charlotte flair one, she came out and talked about her match with asuka and how it felt different and how it was special and then thanked asuka, it was soon disturbed by an nxt Debut, a debut some people have wanted for a while, peyton Royce and Billie Kay from nxt, the iconic duo, they came out and poked fun at Charlotte before beating her down at first Charlotte tried to fight back but the numbers game was to much they left the ring leaving Charlotte in the middle, statement was made.

That beat down lead to the prefect time for carmella to cash in, which she did her music hit and the crowd loved it, previously carmella has tried cashing in but never made it, tonight was different after what seemed like forever for the ref to say she was actually cashing in, carmella hit Charlotte with a super kick and got the one, two, three and is now smackdown woman's champ and also the biggest success story to come out of the three, Enzo, cass and her, I hope wwe give her a good title run, she deserves it.

Up next was a match, the winner got a chance at the US title at the event on the backlash, the match was between randy orton, Bobby Roode & rusev the match was pretty back and fourth all three men having a part to play, the crowd chanting rusev day as always and the normal rko was seen, randy came out on top when he hit on Bobby, the match ended with a stare down between jinder and randy.

It then threw over to a backstage interview where carmella talked about cashing in and winning the title, carmella stated "when a queen has overstayed her welcome there is always a princess waiting to end her reign" she then went on to say she made history and towards the end emotions over took her  can't wait too see what they do with carmella as champ.

It then went back to commentary who threw it over to renee who interviewed AJ Styles, she asked him how he felt about shinsuke and the up coming match he had with Daniel Bryan.

The main event of smackdown was the match new gm paige set up at the start of the show, AJ Styles Vs Daniel Bryan, the match was good as expected between the two of them this being Daniels second match back there is no ring rust on him at all, the match was back and fourth until shinsuke appeared ending the match by attacking Daniel first which caused a DQ ending but with Daniel still winning the match by DQ, shinsuke then went out to finish what he started on Sunday at mania and attacked AJ, shinsuke hits with two low blows and a kick, smackdown ends with shinsuke standing tall over AJ.

Have to see what the superstar shake up brings next week, could both end up going over to raw and continuing that over there, the shake it due to take place over both next weeks shows.
